Abstract
In order to improve road safety and traffic management, creative solutions are required due to the
fast rise of vehicle traffic. By utilizing Arduino and ultrasonic sensor technologies to create a car
speed detector and a dynamic speed breaker control system, this project offers a thorough solution
to these problems. The principal aims of this project are to provide safe and controlled traffic flow
by dynamically controlling speed breakers and monitoring vehicle speeds in real-time.
The technology uses ultrasonic sensors that are positioned at certain points along the route to
determine the coming vehicle's speed. Arduino microcontrollers provide a versatile and reasonable
solution by processing the sensor data and determining the vehicle's speed. The dynamic speed
breaker mechanism is activated by the system if a speed violations is discovered after the detected
speeds have been compared to pre-established speed limitations.
The Dynamic Speed Breaker dynamically modifies the speed breaker's height in response to the
vehicle's speed by using an Arduino-controlled servo motor or actuator. The purpose of this
responsive speed breaker device is to discourage speeding and promote following of traffic laws.
The system is flexible enough to accommodate different traffic situations because the Arduino
platform enables real-time monitoring and control.
The project creates a scalable and effective traffic management solution by combining automation,
sensor technology, and embedded systems. The combination of Arduino and ultrasonic sensors
provides a simple, affordable, and deployable replacement for traditional speed control techniques.
The suggested system would help to increase road safety and traffic efficiency by meeting the
growing demand for intelligent and adaptable solutions in suburban and urban traffic situations
